BleedingtheHydraulicSystem
Thetractionsystemisself-bleeding,however,itmay
benecessarytobleedthesystemifuidischanged
orafterworkisperformedonthesystem.
1.DisengagethePTOandengagetheparking
brake.
2.Shutofftheengineandwaitforallmovingparts
tostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Raisetherearofthemachineontojackstands
highenoughtoraisethedrivewheelsoffthe
ground.
4.Starttheengineandmovethethrottlecontrolto
theidleposition.
Note:Ifthedrivewheeldoesnotrotate,itis
possibletoassistthepurgingofthesystemby
carefullyrotatingthetireintheforwarddirection.
5.Checkthehydraulicuidlevelasitdrops,and
adduidasrequiredtomaintaintheproperlevel.
6.Repeatthisprocedurefortheoppositewheel.
MowerDeck
Maintenance
RemovingtheMowerDeck
1.Shutofftheengine,waitforallmovingpartsto
stop,engagetheparkingbrake,andremove
thekey.
2.Usetheheight-of-cutlevertolowerthemower
deckontowoodblocks.
3.Removethemower-deckbelt;refertoReplacing
theMower-DeckBelt(page47).
4.Removethe2boltsand2nutsconnectingthe
strutbrackettotheframe(Figure74).
Note:Retainthefastenerswiththestrut
bracket.
