Note:Adjustingthedeck-liftspringaltershowmuch
thedeckoatsandhowmucheffortittakestoliftthe
deckwhenusingtheheight-of-cuthandle.
1.Raisethedeck-liftleverandlockitintothe
TRANSPORTposition.
2.Checkthelengthbetweenthespringnutandthe
rearsideoftheweldedmountbracket(Figure
90).
3.Ensurethatthelengthisbetween47to50mm
(1.8to2inches)(Figure90).
4.Ifneeded,adjustthedistancebyadjustingthe
boltonthefrontofthemountbracket(Figure90).

Donotoperatethemachineunlessyouinstall
acoverplate,amulchplate,grassdeector,
orbagger.
1.Removethelocknut,bolt,spring,andspacer
holdingthedeectortothepivotbrackets
(Figure91).

6.Place1J-hookendofthespringaroundthe
grassdeector(Figure91).
Important:Thegrassdeectormustbeable
torotate.Liftthedeectoruptothefullopen
position,andensurethatitrotatesintothe
full-downposition.
