1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Disengagethepowertakeoff(PTO)andshutoff
theengine.
3.Waitforallmovingpartstostopandengage
theparkingbrakebeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
4.Cleantheareaaroundthecapandthellerneck
ofthehydraulictank(Figure71).

6.Adduidtothereservoiruntilitreachesthe
minimumcoldlllevel.

skin,itmustbesurgicallyremoved
withinafewhoursbyadoctorfamiliar
withthistypeofinjury.Gangrenemay
resultifthisisnotdone.
•Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrom
pinholeleaksornozzlesthateject
high-pressurehydraulicuid.
•Usecardboardorpapertond
hydraulicleaks.
•Safelyrelieveallpressureinthe
hydraulicsystembeforeperforming
anyworkonthehydraulicsystem.
•Makesurethatallhydraulic-uid
hosesareingoodcondition,and
allthatthehydraulicconnections
andttingsaretightbeforeapplying
pressuretothehydraulicsystem.
