importanttopreventbatterydamagewhenthe
temperatureisbelow0°C(32°F).
1.Removethebatteryfromthechassis;referto
RemovingtheBattery(page59).
2.Chargethebatteryfor10to15minutesat25to
30Aorfor30minutesat10A.
Note:Donotoverchargethebattery.
3.Whenthebatteryisfullycharged,unplug
thechargerfromtheelectricaloutlet,then
disconnectthechargerleadsfromthebattery
posts(Figure83).
4.Installthebatteryinthemachineandconnect
thebatterycables;refertoInstallingtheBattery
(page61).
Note:Donotrunthemachinewiththebattery
disconnected;electricaldamagemayoccur.
