HydrostaticDriveBeltReplacement
HydrostaticDriveBeltRemoval
1.Stoptheengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,andremovethekey.
Engagetheparkingbrake.
2.Disconnectthebatterybyremovingthenegativecablerst,thenthepositive
cablefromthebattery.
3.Raiseandsupporttheunitsothatthedrivewheelsareofftheground.
4.Removethemowerbeltfromtheclutch.MowerBeltReplacement(page6–6)
5.Usinga9/16inchsocketontheidlerpulley,turnthenutclockwise(fromthe
bottom),startinginthe3O’clockpositiontoremovetensiononthebelt.
Note:Ifthedriveidlerspringisremoved,ensureproperspringorientationon
installation.
6.Slipthedrivebeltoffoftheidlerpulleys.
7.Removethedrivebeltfromthehydrostaticdrivepulleys.
Note:Inspectthebeltforexcessivewear,damage,orcracking,replace
ifnecessary.
HydrostaticDriveBeltInstallation
1.Routethehydrostaticdrivebeltaroundtheenginepulley.

Note:Ensureproperorientationwiththehookopeningsfacingawayfrom
theidlerpivot.
5.Usinga9/16inchsocketontheidlerpulley,turnthenutclockwise(fromthe
bottomofthemachine),startinginthe3O’clockpositiontoremovetension
onthebelt.
6.Slipthebeltupandontotheidlerpulley.
7.Lowertheunit.
