MOWER DECKS/PTO

Mower Deck Removal

Estate Series

1. Disengage the PTO, move the motion control levers

to the neutral locked position, and set the parking

brake.

2. Lifttheoorpanandremovetherightsidemower

belt cover (Fig. 408).

3. Loosen the two nuts located on the idler plate to

remove tension on the belt (Fig. 409)

5. Raise the mower deck to the transport position.

Place 4 x 4 wood blocks under the edge of the

mower deck. Lower the mower deck to relieve the

tension on all four lift chains (Fig. 411).

Note: It may be necessary to push down on the lift

lever and pin into place to relieve tension on

the lift chains.

4. Remove the belt from the electric PTO clutch (Fig.

410).
