Kohler 18 hp Single Cylinder Install

20. Remove the engine pulley (Fig. 311).

21. Remove the 4 engine mounting bolts and washers

(Fig. 312).

1. Lower the engine onto the frame. Install 4 bolts and

spring washers through the frame and into the base

of the engine. Tighten the bolts.

2. Apply anti-seize compound to the engine crankshaft

(Fig. 314).

22. Connect chains to the two lift points on the engine

and raise the engine from the frame (Fig. 313).
