HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

Wheel Motor Removal

This procedure is the same for both the right and left

wheel motors.

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.

2. Raise the rear wheels of the machine off the ground

and support the frame with jackstands. Remove the

rear wheel (Fig. 179).

4. Loosen and remove nut securing hub to the wheel

motor output shaft (Fig. 181).

Note: Hold wheel hub in place as shown by

installing a pry bar into the notch of the hub.

3. Remove the cotter pin from the wheel motor output

shaft (Fig. 180).
