andreviewtheconditionsinwhichyouwillusethemachinetodeterminewhetheryoucanoperatethemachineintheconditionson

thatdayandatthatsite.Changesintheterraincanresultinachangeinslopeoperationforthemachine.Ifpossible,keepthe

cuttingunitsloweredtothegroundwhileoperatingthemachineonslopes.Raisingthecuttingunitswhileoperatingonslopescan

causethemachinetobecomeunstable.

machineunlessyouaretrained.Wearhearingprotection.

5.Warning—Stayawayfrommovingparts;keepallguards

inplace.Shutofftheengineandremovethekeybefore

adjusting,servicing,orcleaningthemachine.

2.Sliding,tippinghazard—Donotusethemachinenear

drop-offswithslopesgreaterthan15degrees;usethe

machineasafedistanceawayfromdrop-offsonslopesless

than15degrees;donotturnsharplywhiletravelingfast;drive

slowlywhenturning.

6.Warning—DisengagethePTO,movethespeed-controllever

totheneutralposition,engagetheparkingbrake,andshutoff

theenginebeforeleavingtheoperator’sposition.

3.Warning—Donotusedualramps;useasingularrampwhen

transportingthemachine;donotuserampswithanincline

greaterthan15degrees.

7.Thrownobjecthazard—Pickupobjectsthatcouldbethrown

bythemower.Donotoperatethemachinewhenpeopleand

petsareinthearea.Keepthedeectorinplace.

4.Arollbarisavailableanditsuseisrecommendedforareas

wherethereareslopes,drop-offs,orwater
