LoweringtheMowerDeck

1.Whilermlyholdingontodeck-lifthandle,
unhookthemower-decklatchfromthemachine
andslowlylowerthemowerdecktotheground
(Figure10).
2.Pushthedeck-lockingpinsinwardandrotate
themforwardtosecurelylockthemowerdeckin
theloweredposition(Figure9).
WARNING
Operatingthemowerwithoutthelockingpins
securelylatchedcanresultinthemowerdeck
foldingupunexpectedly.Themowerdeck
foldingupunexpectedlycancauseserious
injury.
Alwaysoperatemowerwithlockingpins
securelylatched.
AdjustingtheFillReduction
System(FRS)Bafes
Thellreductionsystemhasbeendesignedtoallow
youtoreducetheamountofclippingscollectedby
varyingdegrees.
Theadvantagesincludelessfrequentemptyingofthe
hopperandthereturnofnutrientstothesoil.
Thefollowingarepossiblecongurations:
•Bafesopenwithstandardblades—maximum
collection
•Bafesclosedwithstandardblades—partial
mulching
•Bafesclosedwithmulchblades—intermediate
mulching
•Mulchpluginstalledwithmulchblades—complete
mulching(requiresmulchkit)
AdjusttheFRSbafesasfollows:
1.Shutofftheengine,waitforallmovingpartsto
stop,andremovekey.
2.Engagetheparkingbrake.
3.Removethehairpincottersandclevispinsfrom
bothsidesofthePTOguard(Figure11).
4.Foldtheguardforward.
