engine,cleantheareaaroundtheoil-llcapand
dipstickbeforeremovingit(Figure36).
5.Removethedipstickandwipetheoiloff.
6.Insertthedipstickandpushitallthewaydown
intothetube.
7.Removethedipstickandreadtheoillevel.
8.Iftheoillevelislow,wipeofftheareaaroundthe
oil-llcap,removecapandlltothefullmarkon
thedipstick(Figure36).
Important:Donotoperatetheenginewith
theoillevelbelowthelow(oradd)markon
thedipstickoroverthefullmark.
