1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,movethe
speed-controllevertotheNEUTRALposition,
disengagetheblade-controlswitch(PTO),and
engagetheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Removethedustcapfromthecasterandtighten
thelocknutuntilthespringwashersareat,then
backoff1/4turntoproperlysetthepre-loadon
thebearings(Figure50andFigure51).
