Speed-controlLever

machine(Figure4).Movingspeedcontrolleverrearwardto
theneutralpositionplacesthedrivesystemintoneutral.
ThrottleControl
Thethrottleisusedtocontrolenginespeed.Thethrottle
controlisvariablebetweenFastandSlow.
ChokeControl(NotonEFImachines)
Thechokeisusedtoaidinstartingacoldengine.Movethe
choketotheclosed/onpositiontostartacoldengine.
Note:Donotrunawarmenginewithchokeintheon
position.
BrakeLever
Thebrakeleverengagesaparkingbrakeonthedrivewheels
(Figure4).
IgnitionSwitch
Thisswitchisusedtostartthemowerengineandhasthree
positions:Start,RunandOff.
HourMeter
Thehourmeterrecordsthenumberofhourstheenginehas
operated.Thehourmeterisrecordingwhenthedecimal
pointisashingintheHour/Voltagedisplay.Usethesetimes
forschedulingregularmaintenance(Figure6).
