theengine,andwaitforallmovingpartstostop.
3.Usingthemower-deckhandle,raisethemowerdeck
andmovethecotterpinstothedesiredheight-of-cut
position.Repeatfortheoppositeside.

EmptyingtheHopper
Afullhopperisindicatedbyabuzzerlocatedbehindthe
operatorinthehopper.Emptythehopperwhenthebuzzer
soundstopreventcloggingoftheblowerorthemowerdeck.
1.DisengagethePTO,movethespeedcontrolto
NEUTRAL,settheparkingbrake,anddismountthe
machinetodumpthehopper.
2.Makesurethatthemachineisonadry,levelsurface.
3.Liftthereardoorupandallowittorestontopof
hopper.
4.Usingthehandlesatthelowerfrontofthehopper,
raisethehoppertodumpthecontents.
5.Lowerthehopperandclosethehopperdoor.
ClearingtheHopperScreen
Removethescreenbyrmlyliftingthescreenhandles(Figure
25).
Pullthescreentowardthebacktoremoveit.Asneeded,
gentlytapthescreentoremovedebris.
Note:Excessivebuilduponthescreencancausetheblower
toplug.
Note:Inconditionswherethescreenclogsquickly,thefront
removablescreenpanelcanbeturnedandinstalledunderthe
primaryscreentoallowfreeairowfromthehopper.
