Setting the Left Hydraulic Pump Neutral

5. Place the motion control levers in the neutral

position.

6. Start the engine, open the throttle 1/2 way and

release parking brake.

7. Adjust the pump rod length by rotating the knob, in

the appropriate direction, until the right wheel is still

or slightly creeping in reverse (Fig. 332).

10. Place the motion control levers in the neutral

position.

11. Loosen the jam nuts at the ball joints on the pump

control rod (Fig. 333).

8. Move the motion control lever forward and reverse,

then back to neutral. The wheel must stop turning; it

is acceptable to have a slight creep in reverse.

9. Open the throttle to Fast. Make sure the wheel re-

mains stopped or slightly creeps in reverse; adjust if

necessary.
