lterorseverehydraulicsystemdamagemay
result.
3.Placedrainpanunderlter,removetheoldlter
andwipethelteradaptergasketsurfaceclean
(Figure71).

4.Applyathincoattotherubbergasketonthe
replacementlter(Figure72).
5.Installthereplacementhydrauliclterontothelter
adapter.Donottighten.
6.Fillthehydraulictankwithhydraulicuiduntilthe
uidoverowsthelterandthenturntheoillter
clockwiseuntiltherubbergasketcontactsthelter
adapter,thentightenthelteranadditional1/2turn
(Figure72).
7.Cleanupanyspilleduid.
8.Adduidtothecoldlevelofthebafeinthe
hydraulictank.
9.Starttheengineandletitrunforabouttwominutes
topurgeairfromthesystem.Stoptheengineand
checkforleaks.Ifoneorbothwheelswillnotdrive,
refertoBleedingHydraulicSystem.
10.Rechecktheuidlevelwhiletheuidiswarm.The
uidshouldbebetweencoldandhot.
11.Ifrequired,adduidtothehydraulictank.Donot
overll.
