Note:Adjustthehandleneutralrst.Thatneedstobe
correctbeforethefollowingadjustmentcanbemade.
Thisadjustmentmustbemadewithdrivewheelsturning.
Mechanicalorhydraulicjacksmayfailto
supportmachineandcauseaseriousinjury.
Usejackstandwhensupportingmachine.
Donotusehydraulicjacks.
Enginemustberunningsomotioncontrol
adjustmentcanbeperformed.Contactwith
movingpartsorhotsurfacesmaycause
personalinjury.
Keephands,feet,face,clothingandotherbody
partsawayfromrotatingparts,muferand
otherhotsurfaces.
1.Raisetheframeandblockupthemachinesodrive
wheelscanrotatefreely.
2.Disconnecttheelectricalconnectorfromtheseat
safetyswitch.Temporarilyinstallajumperwire
acrossterminalsinthewiringharnessconnector.
3.Unlatchtheseatandslideseatforward.
4.Disconnecttheseatrodandtilttheseatfullyforward.

1.Starttheengine,openthethrottle1/2wayand
releaseparkingbrake.RefertoStartingandStopping
theEngineinOperation,page14.
Note:Themotioncontrollevermustbeinneutral
whilemakinganyadjustments.
2.Adjustthepumprodlengthbyrotatingtheknob,in
theappropriatedirection,untilthewheelisstillor
slightlycreepinginreverse(Figure74).

1.Loosenthelocknutsattheballjointsonthepump
controlrod(Figure75).
2.Starttheengine,openthrottle1/2wayandrelease
parkingbrake.RefertoStartingandStoppingthe
EngineinOperation,page14.

whilemakinganyadjustments.
Note:Thefrontnutonthepumprodhasleft-hand
threads.
3.Adjustthepumprodlengthbyrotatingdoublenuts
onrod,intheappropriatedirection,untilwheelis
stillorslightlycreepsinreverse(Figure75).
4.Movethemotioncontrolleverforwardandreverse,
thenbacktoneutral.Thewheelmuststopturning
orslightlycreepinreverse.
5.Openthethrottletofast.Makesurethewheel
remainsstoppedorslightlycreepsinreverse,adjust
ifnecessary.
6.Tightenthelocknutsattheballjoints(Figure75).
