Fuellterpluggingmaybeexpectedforatimeafter
convertingtobiodieselblends.
Contactyourdistributorifyouwishformoreinformation
onbiodiesel.
FillingtheFuelTank
Note:Donotllthefueltankcompletelyfull.Fillthefuel
tanktothebottomofthellerneck.Theemptyspaceinthe
tankallowsthegasolinetoexpand.
1.Shuttheengineoffandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Cleanaroundeachfueltankcapandremovethecap.
Fillthefueltanktothebottomofthellerneck.This
spaceinthetankallowsthefueltoexpand.Donotll
thefueltankcompletelyfull.
3.Installthefueltankcapsecurely.Wipeupanyfuelthat
mayhavespilled.
4.Ifpossible,llthefueltankaftereachuse.Thiswill
minimizepossiblebuildupofcondensationinsidethe
fueltank.
CheckingtheEngine-OilLevel
Beforeyoustarttheengineandusethemachine,checktheoil
levelintheenginecrankcase;refertoCheckingtheEngine
OilLevel(page36).
SwitchingtheFuelTanks
Important:Donotrunthemachineoutoffuel.
Thefuelselectorvalveislocatedbehindtheleftsideofthe
seat.
Theunithastwofueltanks.Onetankisontheleftsideand
oneontherightside.Eachtankconnectstothefuelselector
valve.Fromthereacommonfuellineleadstotheengine
(Figure7).
Tousetheleftsidefueltankrotatethefuelselectorvalve
totheLH,lefthandlocation.Tousetherightsidefueltank
rotatethefuelselectorvalvetotheRH,righthandlocation
(Figure7)
Closethefuelselectorvalvebeforetransportingorstoring
machine.
