Closethefuel-selectorvalvewhentransportingorstoring

Operation
Note:Determinetheleftandrightsidesofthemachine
fromthenormaloperatingposition.
AddingFuel
Theenginerunsonclean,freshdieselfuelwithaminimum
octaneratingof40.Purchasefuelinquantitiesthatyoucan
usewithin30daystoensurefuelfreshness.
Usesummergradedieselfuel(No.2-D)attemperatures
above-7°C(20°F)andwintergradedieselfuel(No.1-Dor
No.1-D/2-Dblend)below-7°C(20°F).Useofwintergrade
dieselfuelatlowertemperaturesprovideslowerashpoint
andpourpointcharacteristics,thereforeeasingstartabilityand
lesseningchancesofchemicalseparationofthefueldueto
lowertemperatures(waxappearance,whichmaypluglters).
Useofsummergradedieselfuelabove-7°C(20°F)
contributestowardlongerlifeofthepumpcomponents.
Important:Donotusekeroseneorgasolineinstead
ofdieselfuel.Failuretoobservethiscautiondamages
theengine.
