1.Engagetheparkingbrake.

2.Measurethelengthofthespring.Measurement

shouldbe64mm(2-1/2inch)betweenthewashers

(Figure66).

3.Ifadjustmentisnecessary,releasetheparkingbrake,

loosenthejamnutbelowthespring,andadjustthe

nutdirectlybelowthespring(Figure66).Turnthenut

untilthecorrectmeasurementisobtained.Turnthe

nutclockwisetoshortenthespringlengthandturnit

counter-clockwisetolengthenthespring.

4.Tightenthenutstogether.

5.Engagetheparkingbrake.Checkthemeasurement

ofthespringagain.

6.Ifadjustmentisnecessary,repeattheproceduresabove.

7.Repeatontheoppositesideofmachine.
