leaksornozzlesthatejecthigh-pressure
hydraulicuid.
Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulic
leaks.
Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulic
systembeforeperforminganyworkonthe
hydraulicsystem.
Makesurethatallhydraulic-uidhoses
andlinesareingoodconditionandall
hydraulicconnectionsandttingsare
tightbeforeapplyingpressuretohydraulic
system.

Note:Adjustthehandleneutralrst.Thatneedsto
becorrectbeforethefollowingadjustmentcanbe
made.
Thisadjustmentmustbemadewithdrivewheels
turning.
DANGER
Mechanicalorhydraulicjacksmayfailto
supportthemachineandcauseaserious
injury.
Useajackstandwhensupportingthe
machine.
Donotusehydraulicjacks.
WARNING
Theenginemustberunningsothatyoucan
adjustthemotioncontrol.Anycontactwith
movingpartsorhotsurfacesmaycause
personalinjury.
Keepyourhands,feet,face,clothingand
otherbodypartsawayfromrotatingparts,
muferandotherhotsurfaces.
1.Raisetheframeandblockupthemachineso
thatthedrivewheelscanrotatefreely.
2.Disconnecttheelectricalconnectorfromtheseat
safetyswitch.Temporarilyinstallajumperwire
acrossterminalsinthewire-harnessconnector.
3.Unlatchtheseatandslideseatforward.
4.Disconnecttheseatrodandtilttheseatfully
forward.
SettingtheRightHydraulicPump
NeutralPosition
1.Starttheengine,openthethrottle1/2wayand
disengageparkingbrake;refertoStartingand
ShuttingOfftheEngine(page26).
Note:Themotion-controllevermustbein
neutralwhilemakinganyadjustments.
2.Adjustthepumprodlengthbyrotatingtheknob,
intheappropriatedirection,untilthewheelisstill
orslightlycreepinginreverse(Figure102).
3.Movethemotion-controlleverforwardand
reverse,thenbacktoneutral.
Note:Thewheelmuststopturningorslightly
creepinreverse.
