contactsthelteradapter,thentightenthelteran

7.Fillthecrankcasewiththepropertypeofnewoil;
refertoServicingtheEngineOil.
8.Runtheengineforabout3minutes,stoptheengine,
andcheckforoilleaksaroundtheoillter.
9.Checktheengineoillevelandaddoilifneeded.
ServicingtheSparkPlugs
Checkthesparkplugsafterevery200operatinghours.
Ensurethattheairgapbetweenthecenterandside
electrodesiscorrectbeforeinstallingthesparkplug.
Useasparkplugwrenchforremovingandinstallingthe
sparkplugsandagappingtool/feelergaugetocheckand
adjusttheairgap.Installanewsparkplugsifnecessary.

ServiceInterval:Every200hours
1.Lookatthecenterofthesparkplugs(Figure41).
Ifyouseelightbrownorgrayontheinsulator,the
engineisoperatingproperly.Ablackcoatingonthe
insulatorusuallymeansthattheaircleanerisdirty.

Important:Alwaysreplacethesparkplugs
whenithasablackcoating,wornelectrodes,
anoilylm,orcracks.
2.Checkthegapbetweenthecenterandsideelectrodes
(Figure41).Bendthesideelectrode(Figure41)if
thegapisnotcorrect.
RemovingtheSparkPlugs
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
3.Disconnectthewiresfromthesparkplugs
(Figure42).
