1. Lower the engine to the frame of the unit.

2. Install the engine with 4 mounting bolts, spring

washers, and nuts.

Note: The front left engine mounting bolt has the

two ground cables (Fig. 171). Tighten the

bolts.

15. Connect lift chains/straps to the engine lift brackets.

Raise the engine from the frame of the unit (Fig.

170).

3. Install the mower drive belt around the electric PTO

clutch; refer to Replacing the Mower Belt page 7-24.

4. Plug the electric PTO clutch harness into the clutch

(Fig. 172). Secure the clutch wire to the PTO stop

rod with a tie strap.

5. Connect the blue wire to the starter solenoid terminal

as shown (Fig. 173).
