Installing the Air Cleaner
on 25hp Kawasaki Engines
Parts needed for this step:

1 Air cleaner
1 Hose clamp
Procedure
1. Remove the air cleaner from the crate, keeping
the bracket together with it.
2. Remove the 4
screws holding the front
plastic cover on the front
of the engine.

3. Remove the plastic
plug.

4. Remove the 2 bolts
from the back of the
engine.
5. Remove the 2 long
bolts that run through
the carborateur.

6. Install the hose into
the air cleaner base.

7. Align the holes in
the air cleaner bracket
with holes in the valve
covers.
8. Install the long
carburetor bolts into the
air cleaner base and into
the carburetor.

9. Install the hose
clamp onto the hose and
install the hose to the air
cleaner.
10. Install the bolts into
the back of the air
cleaner bracket and into
the motor.
11. Tighten the hose
clamps.
