HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS
8. Open throttle to fast. Make sure wheel remains
stopped or slightly creeps in reverse, re-adjust if
necessary.
9. Repeat on opposite side of unit. Tighten locknuts
against ball joints.
10. Shut off unit. Remove jumper wire from wire
harness connector and plug connector into seat
switch.
11. Reinstall prop rod and lower seat.
Wheel Motor R & R
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable
2. Raise the rear wheels of the machine off the
ground and support frame with safety stands.
3. Apply the parking brake and remove the drive
wheel (Figure 67).

4. Remove the cotter pin (A) (Figure 67) from the
wheel motor output shaft. Then loosen the nut (B)
(Figure 67) securing the hub to the output shaft.
Release the parking brake.
5. Remove the 3 bolts securing the brake band (C)
(Figure 67) to the brake actuator. Then, remove
the brake band from the hub.
6. Install the special puller on to the hub and tighten
the forcing screw until the hub is free of the wheel
motor output shaft (Figure 68).

7. Clean any dirt and debris away from the hydraulic
line fittings. Then, remove the hydraulic hoses
from the fittings and cap the fittings and hoses to
prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system
(Figure 69).

WARNING
Electrical system will not perform proper safety
shut off with jumper wire installed.
Remove jumper wire from wire harness
connector and plug connector into seat switch
when adjustment is completed.
Never operate this unit with jumper installed
and seat switch bypassed.
