Stopping
1. Move the throttle lever to “SLOW” (Fig. 5).
2. Move the PTO (power take off) to “OFF”
(Fig. 3).
3. Turn the ignition key to “OFF” (Fig. 6).
Note: If the engine has been working hard or
is hot, let it idle for a minute before
turning the ignition key “OFF.” This
helps cool the engine before it is
stopped. In an emergency, the engine
may be stopped by turning the ignition
key to “OFF.”
4. Pull wire off spark plug(s) to prevent possibility
of someone accidentally starting the machine
before transporting or storing machine.
5. Close fuel shut off valve, on front panel before
transporting or storing machine.
IMPORTANT: Make sure fuel shut off valve
is closed before transporting or storing
machine, as fuel leakage may occur.
