Removal
NOTE: Before beginning removal process both the machine and work area must be clean.
1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage the PTO and set the parking brake.
2. Release the pressure from the hydraulic system before servicing any hydraulic related component, see
“Releasing Pressure from the Hydraulic System,” chapter 7, page 7-6.
3. Move the deck to the full-downward position. Stop the engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the
key.
4. Remove the operator’s seat, see “Seat Removal,” chapter 5, page 5-23.
5. Remove the front seat mount, see “Front Seat Mount Removal,” chapter 5, page 5-25.
6. Remove the floor pan.
7. Disconnect the PTO.
8. Remove the hydro filter.
9. Place a drain pan under the reservoir hose, remove the drain plug and hose. Wait until the reservoir hose is
done draining before continuing (Figure 5).
10. Properly dispose of the drain oil when full. Then place the drain pan under the hydraulic tank.
11. Note orientation of all hoses and routing.
Tech Tip: Take a picture of the hose routings for later reference.
