Important:Failuretoproperlyperformthis
procedurecanresultinirreparabledamagetothe
transaxledrivesystem.
RemovingHydraulicFluidand
Filters
Thisprocedurevariesdependingonthedrivesystem
ofthemodel.Ifitisunclearwhichdrivesystemison
themodel,contactyourAuthorizedServiceDealer.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch(PTO),andengagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Allowtheenginetocool.
4.Locateandremovetheventplugasfollows:
Note:Ensurethatyoukeeptrackofthevent
plugafterremoval,asitcanbeeasytomisplace.
ForZT4400Hydros,useanextensionand
7/16-inchsocket,accesstheventplugfrom
thetopofthemachinethroughtheholes
neartheroll-barmounts(Figure82).
