1.ParkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengagethePTO.Stopthe
engine,waitforallmovingpartstostopandremovethekey.Engagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Disconnectthebatterybyremovingthenegativecablerst,thenthepositive
cablefromthebattery.
3.Raiseandsupportthemachinesothatthefrontwheelsareofftheground.
4.Removethecasterwheelfromthecasterfork.
5.Removethesealguardsfromthewheelhub.
6.Removeaspacernutfromtheaxleassembly.
Note:Threadlockingadhesivehasbeenappliedtolockthespacernuts
totheaxle.
7.Removetheaxlefromthewheelassemblywiththesecondspacernutstill
attached.
8.Pryoutthesealsandremovethebearings.
9.Inspectthebearingsforwearordamageandreplaceifnecessary.
Note:Bearingsealsmustbereplacedafterremoval.Donotreusebearing
seals.
CasterWheelAssembly
1.Ensurethatthewheeliscleanandfreeofdebrisorexcessivewear.
2.Packthe2taperedbearingswithgrease.
3.Insert1bearingandsealintothewheel.
4.Inserttheassembledspacernutandaxleintothewheel.
5.Withtheopenendofthewheelfacingup,lltheareainsidethewheel,
aroundtheaxle,fullofgrease.
6.Insertthesecondbearingandsealintothewheel.
7.Applythreadlockertothesecondspacernutandthreadontotheaxle.
