Purpose
This normally closed switch opens when an operator sits on the seat.
How It Works
This DPST switch has two sets of two contacts inside. When at rest, one
set of contacts is closed while the other set is open. The opposite is true
when the button is depressed. The normally closed set of terminals is small
while the normally open side are larger.
Testing
1. Disconnect the switch from the wiring harness.
2. Verify the conditions in the table.

Purpose
This switch is used to test the operation of the engine temperature horn.
How It Works
It is an SPST rocker type switch that is spring loaded in the open position.
The hole for backlighting is not used.
Testing
1. Disconnect the switch from the wiring harness.
2. Check the two terminals for continuity. There should be none.
3. Hold the rocker and verify that the two terminals are now continuous.
