ReplacingthePump-Drive
Belt
ServiceInterval:Every50hours—Checkthe
pump-drivebelt.
Note:RemovethePTO-drivebeltrstifthe
pump-drivebeltneedstobereplaced.
1.Tilttheseatforwardandremovethefrontengine
panel.
2.RemovethePTO-drivebelt.
3.Removethespringfromtheidlerarm(Figure
90).
4.Installthenewbeltaroundtheengineand
hydraulicpumppulley(Figure90).
5.InstallthePTO-drivebelt.
6.Installthespringtotheidlerarm(Figure90).

machinetoanAuthorizedServiceDealer.
TensioningtheAlternatorBelt
1.Placeahandlebetweenthealternatorand
cylinderblock.
2.Adjustthealternatortotheoutsideuntilthere
is7to9mm(1/4to11/32inch)deectionin
thebeltbetweentheengineandthealternator
pulleyswith10kg(22.1lb)offorce(Figure91).
3.Tightenthealternatorbolts.
4.Checkthedeectioninthebeltagainandadjust
thebeltifneeded.
5.Ifthedeectioniscorrect,tightenthebottom
andupperbolt(Figure91).
