surfaces.Allowenginecomponentstocoolbefore
performingmaintenance.

overspeedtheengine.
ServicingtheAirCleaner
ServiceInterval:Every400hours
CheckingtheAirCleaner
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage
theblade-controlswitch(PTO),andengagethe
parkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Checktheair-cleanerbodyfordamage,which
couldpossiblycauseanairleak.
Replaceadamagedair-cleanerbody.
4.Checktheair-intakesystemforleaks,damage,
orloosehoseclamps.
5.Servicetheair-cleanerlterandsafetyelement
whenalerted(Figure38).
