Purpose
This component provides the proper switching for the starter, ignition, PTO,
safety, and accessory circuits.
How It Works
Detents inside the switch give it three positions: off, run, and start The start
position is spring loaded so the cylinder automatically returns to run once
the key is released.
Note: The letters shown in the illustration are written on the side of the
terminals.
Testing
1. Disconnect the switch from the wiring harness.
2. Verify the following conditions in the table.
3. Check for continuity between each of the terminals and the switch case.
Only the ground terminal should show continuity.

Purpose
116338 provides the proper switching for the starter, ignition, and safety
interlock circuits.
How It Works
Detents inside the switch give it three positions: off, run, and start. The start
position is spring loaded so that the cylinder automatically returns to “run”.
Note that this switch does not come with a key. The case is connected to
the ground terminal.
Testing
1. Disconnect the switch from the wiring harness.
2. Verify the conditions in the table.
Note: The letters stamped on the switch terminals may not be correct. Use
the diagram at the left to identify the individual terminals.
