Procedure
Usethisproceduretoreducethegapbetweenthemounting
plateofthetowpoleandthehitchassembly.
Note:Thestampedballhitchassemblyisshown,the
installationofthepinteland1inchpinhitchassembliesare
similar.
1.Checktherelationshipbetweenthehitchofthe
machineandthehitchofthetowvehicle(Figure2),
andmountthehitchassemblyin1ofthefollowing
positions:
•Ifthehitchesareapproximatelythesameheight,
keepthehitchassemblyinthemiddlepositionof
themountingplate.
•Ifthehitchofthetowvehicleishigh,mountthe
hitchassemblyinthetopposition.
•Ifthehitchofthetowvehicleislow,mountthe
hitchassemblyinthebottomposition.
