MixingaBatchofMaterialinthe
Machine
1.Ensurethatthereisnoold,loosematerialinthedrum
thatcancontaminatethebatchofmaterial;referto
CleaningtheDrum(page24)andDumpingtheDrum
(page24),thenreturnthedrumtotheuprightposition.
Note:Ensurethatthedrumisinthemixposition
(upright)andthedrumlatchisengaged.
2.MovetheclutchlevertotheOffposition;referto
ControllingthePaddles(page22).
3.Starttheengine;referto
StartingtheEngine(page21).
Note:Allowtheenginetowarm-upat2/3throttle
for1to2minutes.
4.SetthethrottleleverontheenginetotheMaxposition;
referto
ThrottleLever(page12).
5.MovetheclutchlevertotheOnposition;referto
ControllingthePaddles(page22).
6.Addtheingredientsforthebatchasfollows:
A.Pourwaterintothedrumthroughthegratingof
thedrumguard.
B.Addtheplaster,cement,orotherbindingmaterial.

bindingmaterialsbyloweringthebagontothe
