1.Shutoffthechainsawandremovethebattery
pack;refertoRemovingtheBatteryPack(page
17).
2.Checktheoillevelinthewindow.Iftheoildoes
notllthewindow,addbarandchainoilas
needed(Figure27).

5.Unfoldthewing-nuttabontheoilcaptab,
removethecap,andpourbarandchainoilinto
thechainsawuntiltheoilllsthetank(Figure
27).
Important:Donotllthechainsawhigher
thanthebottomofthellneck.
6.Cleanupanyspilledoil,securetheoilcap,and
foldthewing-nuttabdown.
7.Ensurethatoilisowingtothechain;referto
CheckingtheFlowofBarandChainOil(page
20).
