1.Releasethetriggerswitch(Figure3).
2.Allowatleast5secondsforthecuttingbladetostopmoving.
ChargingtheBatteryPack
Important:Forbestresults,yourbatterypackshould
bechargedinalocationwherethetemperatureismore
than5°C(41°F)butlessthan40°C(104°F).Toreduce
theriskofseriouspersonalinjury,donotstoreoutside
orinvehicles.Chargingtimewillbeincreasedifnot
chargedwithinthisrange.
1.Ifthepowercordisnotpluggedintothecharger,plugit
intothecharger(Figure5),thenplugthepowercordinto
apowersocket.
2.Turnthebatteryupsidedownandlineupthebatteryterminal
withtheslotinthecharger(Figure5andFigure6).

Note:Ifyouhavetroubleremovingthebattery,apply
somedielectricgreasetothebatteryterminals(Figure
7).Donotuseanyothertypeoflubricantasitcan
damagetheterminals.
