Canbus
ThemachinecontrollerscommunicatewitheachotheronaControllerArea
Network(CAN)bussystem.Usingthisnetworkallowsfullintegrationofallthe
differentelectricalcomponentsofthemachine,allowingthemtooperatetogether
asone.Twospeciallydesigned,twistedwiresformtheCANbus.Thesewires
providethedatapathwaysbetweenthecomponentsonthenetwork.The
engineeringtermforthesecablesareCANHighandCANLow.TheCANbus
wiresareeitherred/whiteoryellow(CAN-High)andeitherblack/whiteorgreen
(CANLow).AteachendoftheCANbusisa120ohmterminationresistor;refer
toCANbusT erminatorResistors(page5–27).
Thecanbusisincorporatedintothemachinewireharnessofallmodel44552,
44552TE,44553,and44554machines.Onlymachineswithwirelessremote
control(model44552.44552TE,and44553)havecomponentsthatusethe
CANbusforcommunication.
