TheT oroElectronicController(TEC)andtheT oroWirelessModules(TWMs)
usedonwirelesscontrolledProForceDebrisBlowers(Models44552,44552TE,
and44553)communicatewitheachotheronaControllerAreaNetwork(CAN)
bussystem.Usingthisnetworkintegratesallthedifferentelectricalcomponents
ofthemachineandbringsthemtogetherasone.TheCANbussystemreduces
thenumberofelectricalcomponentsandconnectionsusedonthemachineand
allowsthenumberofwiresinthewireharnesstobesignicantlyreduced.
EachofthecomponentsthatiscontrolledbytheCANbusnetworkonlyneeds
four(4)wirestooperateandcommunicatetothesystem:CANHigh,CANLow,
powerandground.ThekeyswitchneedstobeintheRUNorSTARTposition
forthecomponentsonthenetworktobeactivated.
Twospeciallydesigned,twistedwiresformtheCANbus.Thesewiresprovide
thedatapathwaysbetweenthecomponentsonthenetwork.Theengineering
termforthesecablesareCANHighandCANLow.TheCANbuswiresareeither
red/whiteoryellow(CAN-High)andblack/whiteorgreen(CANLow).Ateach
endofthetwistedpairofbuscablesisa120ohmterminationresistor;referto
CANbusTerminatorResistors(page5–27).
Thecanbusisincorporatedintothemachinewireharnessofallmodel44552,
44552TE,44553,and44554machines.Onlymachineswithwirelessremote
control(model44552,44552TE,and44553)havecomponentsthatusethe
CANbusforcommunication.
TheToroDIAGelectroniccontroldiagnosticsservicesystemisavailableto
AuthorizedT oroDistributorstosupportmachinefaultdiagnosisandmaintenance
servicesofthemachineelectricalcontroldevices.TheT oroDIAGconnectoris
locatedontheleftsideofthemachinecontroltower.
