•Keepyourhands,feet,hair,andclothing

awayfromallmovingpartstoprevent

injury.

•Neveroperatethemachinewithcovers,

shrouds,orguardsremoved.

1.Ensurethattheblowerisattachedtothetow

vehiclebeforeyoustarttheblower.

2.MovethechokecontroltotheONpositionbefore

startingacoldengine.

Note:Awarmorhotenginemaynotrequire

choking.Aftertheenginestarts,movethechoke

controltotheOFFposition.

3.RotatetheengineignitionkeytotheSTART

position(Figure12).

Note:IfthekeywasleftintheRUNposition

foranextendedtime,movethekeytothe

OFFpositionbeforeproceedingtothestarting

procedure.

frompressingtheROTATERIGHTbutton.After

theEngineStartEnableConditionexpires,

youmustperformtheEngineStartEnable

SequenceagaininordertoenergizetheStart

RelayControlwiththeSTARTbutton.Youcannot

performthissequencefor10secondsafteryou

releasetheSTARTbutton.

Note:Ifthesequenceisabortedorthe

EngineStartEnableConditionexpires,normal

functionalityoftheROTATERIGHTandROTATE

LEFTbuttonsreturntocontroltheChuteMotor.

Important:Donotengagestarterformore

than10secondsatatime.Ifenginefailsto

start,allowa10-secondcool-downperiod
