TheGeoLink
SystemconsistsofanECU-based
controlconsole,GPSsystem,pressuretransducer,
andaturbine-typeowmeter.
Becomefamiliarwiththecontrolsbeforeyoustartthe
engineandoperatethesprayer.
Thefollowingareimportantacronymsfortheuserto
understand:
SBAS(Satellite-BasedAugmentation
System)—Thissystemsupportswide-area
orregionalaugmentationthroughtheuseof
additionalsatellitebroadcastmessages.SBAS
correctionsourcesarecommonlycomposed
ofmultiplegroundstations,whichtakethe
measurementsof1ormoreGNSSsatellites,and
thesatellitesignalsandenvironmentalfactorsthat
mayimpactthesignal.
WAAS(WideAreaAugmentationSystem)—This
USSBASwasdevelopedbytheUSFederal
AviationAdministrationtoserveasanair
navigationaidbyimprovingtheaccuracyand
availabilityoftheGPSsignals.
RTK(RealTimeKinematic)—Thisisanetwork
associationofbasestationsthattransmittheir
positiondatatoaserverviatheinternet(NTRIP).
ThevehiclesintheRTKnetwork(rovers)also
transmittheirpositiontotheserverviamobile
radio.Theserverusesthepositiondatafrom
thebasestationsandvehiclestocalculatethe
correctiondataforeachvehicleandtransmitsitto
thevehicleviamobileradio.Thisallowsyouto
determinethepositiontobecarriedoutwithan
accuracyof1to2cm(3/8to3/4inches)realtime.
GLONASS(GlobalNavigationSatelliteSystem
(RussianGNSS))—ThisallowstheGPSreceiver
tousetheRussiansatellitenavigationsystemin
additiontoGPS.

themachine.Thegreenbuttonisnotneededtostart
thesystem.
Pushthegreenbuttonmomentarilytoturntheconsole
off(Figure2).Ascreenwillaskyouifyouwanttoshut
downtheconsole.
Note:Turningofftheconsolecomputercorrectly
doesnotaffectthedatastoredintheECUmemory.
Note:Pushthegreenbuttononly.Theredbutton
resetsthesystem.
Note:Holdthegreenbuttononlytoturnonthe
screenuntilthescreenandlightbarbeginstoash,
orinanemergency,toturnthescreenoff.
