Operation
Thedisplaycomputercontrolsthesprayapplication
rateforvaryingvehiclespeeds.Yousetthetarget
volumeperunitareatospray,andthedisplay
computerautomaticallymaintainstheowwithinthe
properrangeofthevehiclespeedandcontinually
displaystheactualvolumeofmaterialperarea
sprayed.Thedisplaycomputeralsomonitorsthe
areasprayed,thespeedofthevehicle,andthetotal
volumeofmaterialsprayed.
Thereare2methodsofusingthedisplay;usingthe
WAASsignalandusingtheRTKsignal.WAASis
usingonlyaGPSsignaltousethesystemandRTK
usesbothaGPSsignalandacellularsignal.The
RTKsignalallowsmoredetailandcapabilitieswith
theconsole.
Note:Ensurethatthesprayeriscalibratedcorrectly
beforestartingtospray.
UnderstandingtheDifferent
DisplayModes
•EasyMode—Thismodeisforgeneralsparaying
thatalloperatorscanuse.
•StandardMode—Thismodeisforasupervisoror
superintendenttouse.Itispasswordprotected
andusesextrafeaturesforsettingupthedisplay.
Thestandardmodeinformationisinvideoformat.
PleaserefertothevideosontheUSBdrive
thatcamewiththedisplay.
•ExpertMode—Thismodeisforthedistributor
touse.Itispasswordprotectedandallowsthe
distributortohelpwithcustomerservice.
StartingtheDisplay
1.Connectthedisplaytoapowersupply.
Ensurethatassociateddevices,suchasthe
GPS(GlobalPositioningSystem)andECU
(ElectronicControlUnit),areconnected.
2.Startthemachineandwaitafewsecondsfor
theconsoletostart.
Note:Thegreenbuttonturnsthedisplaypower
onandoff.Turningoffthedisplaycomputer
doesnotaffectthedatastoredinthecomputer.
Note:Theredbuttonresetsthedisplayand
mayloseunsaveddata.Resetthedisplayonlyif
thedisplayfreezesorcannotbeturnedoffinthe
normalway.Donotresetthedisplayunless
thereisaproblem.
