1.Settheparkingbrake,stopthepump,stopthe
engine,andremovethekeyfromthestarter
switch.
2.Tiltthepassengerseatforwardandalignthe
proprodintothedetentintheproprodguide
slot.
3.Wipecleanthedustcapandaircleanerbody
(Figure56).

Note:Replacethedustcapandaircleaner

5.Squeezethedustvalvetoclearitofdirt,dust,
anddebris(Figure56).
6.Loosenthe2latchesthatsecurethedustcap
totheaircleanerbody.
7.Checktheairlterelementforexcessive
accumulationofdust,dirt,anddebris(Figure
56).
Note:Donotcleantheairlterelementifitis
dirty,replacetheairlterelementifitisdirty.
8.Installthedustcapontotheaircleanerbodyand
securethecapwiththe2latches(Figure56).
Note:Ensurethatthedustvalveosaligned
between5to7o’clockpositionwhenviewed
fromtheend.
9.Lowerthepassengerseat.
ReplacingatheFilterElement
ServiceInterval:Every100hoursReplacetheair
lterelementmoreoftenindusty,
dirtyconditions.
1.Ifyouareinstallinganewlter,inspectthenew
airlterelementforshippingdamage,including
thesealingendofthelter.
Important:Donotinstalladamagedlter.
2.Wipecleanthedustcapandaircleanerbody
(Figure56).
3.Liftthecoolantoverowtankupandoffofthe
tank-supportbracket(Figure57).
