BleedingAirfromthe
Injectors
Youshouldperformthisprocedureonlyafteryou
havepurgedtheairinthesystemwhileyouprimethe
engineanditdoesnotstart.RefertoBleedingthe
FuelSystem(page39).
1.LoosenthepipeconnectiontotheNo.1nozzle
andholderassembly.
2.MovethethrottletotheFastposition.
3.TurnthekeyinthekeyswitchtotheStart
positionandwatchthefuelowaroundthe
connector.
4.TurnthekeytotheOffpositionwhenyou
observeasolidowoffuel.
5.Tightenthepipeconnectorsecurely.
6.Repeatthisprocedurefortheremainingnozzles.
DrainingtheFuelTank
ServiceInterval:Every400hours/Yearly(whichever
comesrst)
Drainandcleanthefueltankifthefuelsystem
becomescontaminatedorifyouplantostorethe
machineforanextendedperiod.Usefresh,cleanfuel
toushoutthetank.
1.Transferthefuelfromthetankintoanapproved
fuelcontainerusingasiphonpump,orremove
thetankfromthemachineandpourthefuelout
ofthetankllspoutintothefuelcontainer.
Note:Ifyouremovethefueltank,youwillneed
toremovethefuelandreturnhosesfromthe
tankbeforeremovingthetank.
2.Replacethefuellter;refertotheServicingthe
FuelFilters(page41).
3.Flushthetankwithfresh,cleanfuel,ifnecessary.
4.Installthetankifyouremoveditinstep1.
5.Fillthetankwithfresh,cleanfuel.
