SettingtheCruiseControl
CAUTION
Ifyoupresstheswitchtoturnoffthecruise
controlanddonothaveyourfootonthe
tractionpedal,thetractionunitmaysuddenly
stopandcauseyoutolosecontrol,possibly
injuringyouorbystanders.
Ensurethatyouhaveyourfootonthetraction
pedalwhenyoudisengagethecruisecontrol
usingtheswitch.
1.Driveforwardandattainthedesiredspeed;refer
toDrivingtheSprayer.
2.Pressthetopofthecruisecontrolswitch.
Note:Thelightontheswitchilluminates.
3.Takeyourfootoffthetractionpedal.
Note:Thesprayerwillmaintainthespeedyou
set.
4.Toreleasethecruisecontrol,eitherplaceyour
footonthetractionpedalandpressthebottom
ofthecruisecontrolswitchorremoveyourfoot
fromthetractionpedalandpressthebrake
pedal.
Note:Thelightontheswitchturnsoffandthe
tractioncontrolreturnstothetractionpedal.
StoppingtheEngine
1.MoveallthecontrolstotheNeutralposition.
2.Pressthebraketostopthesprayer.
3.Settheparkingbrake.
4.ShiftthethrottlelevertotheIdleposition.
5.TurntheignitionkeytotheOffposition.
6.Removethekeyfromtheswitchtoprevent
someonefromaccidentallystartingtheengine.
NewSprayerBreak-In
Toprovideproperperformanceandlongsprayerlife,
followtheseguidelinesfortherst100operating
hours:
Checktheuidandengineoillevelsregularly
andbealertforindicationsofoverheatinginany
componentofthesprayer.
Afterllingthetank,checkthetankstrapsforany
play.Tightenasnecessary.
Afterstartingacoldengine,letitwarmupforabout
15secondsbeforeaccelerating.
Avoidhardbrakingsituationsfortherstseveral
hoursofnewsprayerbreak-inoperation.New
brakeliningsmaynotbeatoptimumperformance
untilseveralhoursofusehascausedthebrakes
tobecomeburnished(broken-in).
Avoidracingtheengine.
RefertotheMaintenancesectionforanyspecial
lowhourchecks.
OperatingtheSprayer
TooperatetheMulti-ProSprayerrstllthespray
tank,thenapplythesolutiontotheworkarea,and
nallycleanthetank.Itisimportantthatyoucomplete
allthreeofthesestepsinsuccessiontoavoid
damagingthesprayer.Forexample,donotmixand
addchemicalsinthespraytankatnightandthen
sprayinthemorning.Thiswouldleadtoseparation
ofthechemicalsandpossibledamagetothesprayer
components.

Chemicalsarehazardousandcancause
personalinjury.
Readthedirectionsonthechemicallabels
beforehandlingthechemicalsandfollow
allmanufacturerrecommendationsand
precautions.
Keepchemicalsawayfromyourskin.
Shouldcontactoccur,washtheaffected
areathoroughlywithsoapandcleanwater.
Weargogglesandanyotherprotective
equipmentrecommendedbythechemical
manufacturer.
TheMulti-ProSprayerhasbeenspecicallydesigned
tohavehighdurabilityinordertogiveitthelong
sprayerlifeyouneed.Differentmaterialshavebeen
chosenforspecicreasonsatdifferentlocationson
yoursprayertomeetthisgoal.Unfortunatelythereis
nosinglematerialwhichisperfectforallforeseeable
applications.
Somechemicalsaremoreaggressivethanothers
andeachchemicalinteractsdifferentlywithvarious
materials.Someconsistencies(e.g.wettable
powders,charcoal)aremoreabrasiveandleadto
higherwearrates.Ifachemicalisavailableina
formulationthatwouldprovideincreasedlifetothe
sprayer,usethisalternativeformulation.
Asalways,remembertocleanyoursprayerthoroughly
afterallapplications.Thiswilldothemosttoensure
yoursprayerhasalongandtroublefreelife.
