Thetractionpedal(Figure7)controlsthemovementof
themachine,bothforwardandreverse.Usingtheheel
andtoeoftherightfoot,pressthetopofthepedalto
moveforwardorthebottomofthepedaltomovein
reverse.Releasethepedaltoslowandstop.

Important:Ensurethatyouallowthesprayer
tocometoastopbeforeswitchingbetweenthe
ForwardandReverseposition.
Note:Thefartheryoupressthepedalineither
direction,thefasterthesprayerwilltravel.Toobtain
maximumforwardspeed,setthethrottlelevertothe
Fastpositionandpressthetractionpedalalltheway
forward.
Note:Toobtainmaximumpowerwithafulltankor
whentravelingupahill,setthethrottleleverintheFast
positionanddriveslowlysothattheengineremainsat
ahighrpm.
BrakePedal
Usethebrakepedaltostoporslowthesprayer
(Figure7).
Ifyouoperatethesprayerwithpoorlyadjusted
orwornbrakes,youcouldlosecontrolofthe
sprayer,resultinginseriousinjuryordeathto
youorbystanders.
Alwayscheckthebrakesbeforeoperatingthe
sprayerandkeepthemproperlyadjustedand
repaired.
ParkingBrake
Theparkingbrakeisapedaltotheleftofthebrake
(Figure7).Engagetheparkingbrakewheneveryou
planonleavingtheseattopreventthesprayerfrom
accidentlymoving.Toengagetheparkingbrake,press
thebrakepedaland,whileholdingthebrake,pressthe
parkingbrakepedal.Todisengage,pressandreleasethe
