Audible Alarm
The audible alarm sounds to notify the operator when a
machine problem exists. Electrical current for the alarm
is provided as an output from the TEC. The audible
alarm is located in the center of the instrument panel
(Fig. 133).
Testing
1. Park machine on a level surface, stop engine and en-
gage parking brake. Remove key from ignition switch.
2. Locate alarm and disconnect machine wire harness
from alarm.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to observe polarity on the
alarm terminals when testing. Damage to the alarm
may result from an improper connection.
3. Connect 12VDC power to the terminals as shown
(Fig. 134). The alarm should sound. Replace the alarm
if necessary.
4. If the alarm tests correctly and a circuit problem still
exists, check wire harness (see Electrical Schematic
and Wire Harness Drawings in Appendix A Foldout
Drawings in this manual).
5. Reconnect machine wire harness to alarm.
