1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engage

offtheengine,removethekey,andallowthe
enginetocool.

4.Fillthetanktoabout2.5cm(1inch)belowthe
topofthetank(bottomofthellerneck).

5.Installthefuel-tankcaptothetanksecurely.
6.Wipeupanyfuelthatmayhavespilled.

fortherst100operatinghours:
•Checktheengine-oilanduidlevelsregularly
andbealertforindicationsofoverheatinginany
componentofthesprayer.
•Afterstartingacoldengine,letitwarmupforabout
15secondsbeforeaccelerating.
•Avoidracingtheengine.
•Varythesprayerspeedduringoperation.Avoid
faststartsandquickstops.
•RefertoMaintenance(page46)foranyspecial,
low-hourchecks.

Theturretbodiescanacceptupto3differentnozzles.
Toselectthedesirednozzle,performthefollowing:
1.Stopthesprayeronalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,removethekey,andengagetheparking
brake.
2.SetthemastersectionswitchtotheOFFposition
andsetthespray-pumpswitchtotheOFF
position.
3.Rotatetheturretofthenozzlesineitherdirection
tothecorrectnozzle.
4.Formachinesoperatedintheapplicationrate
mode,performaowcalibration;refertothe
SoftwareGuidefortheMultiPro5800-Dand
5800-GturfsprayerswithExcelaRatespray
system.
