CAUTION
Ifyouleavethekeyinthestarterswitch,
someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengine
andseriouslyinjureyouorotherbystanders.
Removethekeyfromthestarterswitchbefore
youdoanymaintenance.
RaisingtheSprayer
Wheneverrunningtheengineforroutinemaintenance
and/orenginediagnostics,therearwheelsofthe
sprayershouldbe25mm(1inch)offthegroundwith
therearaxlesupportedonjackstands.
DANGER
Asprayeronajackmaybeunstableandslip
offthejack,injuringanyonebeneathit.
Alwaysremovethekeyfromthestarter
switchbeforegettingoffthesprayer.
Blockthetireswhenthesprayerisona
jack.
Supportthemachinewithjackstands.
Thejackingpointatthefrontofthesprayerisunder
thefrontaxle,directlyundertheleafsprings(Figure
64).

pump,shutofftheengine,andremovethekey.
2.Raisethefrontandbackofthemachineand
supportitwithjackstands;refertoRaisingthe
Sprayer(page52).
3.Removethe6hex-headboltsand6washers
thatsecurethefront,forwardheatshieldtothe
chassisandremovetheshield(Figure66).
