PreparingtoConditiontheSprayer
1.Movethemachinetothedrainpadarea,engage
theparkingbrake,shutoffthespraypump,shut
offtheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movementtostopbeforeleavingtheoperator’s
position.
2.Drainthefresh-watertankandleavethetank
spigotopen.
3.Drainthesprayertankascompletelyas
possible.
4.Preparerustinhibiting,non-alcoholbased,
RVantifreezesolution;refertoPreparingthe
Conditioner(page65).
5.Remove1ofthepressure-sensetubesfromthe
push-to-connectttingasshowninFigure132.

1.Runthespraypumpforafewminutesto
circulatetheRVantifreezethroughoutthespray
systemandanyinstalledsprayaccessories.
2.Turntheleft,center,andrightsectionswitches
totheONposition.
3.TurnthemastersectionswitchtotheONposition
andlookforthefollowing:
•EnsurethatRVanti-freezeowsfromthe
disconnectedendofthepressure-gauge
tube.
•SprayoutthenozzleuntiltheRVanti-freeze
isvisible.
4.TurnthemastersectionswitchtotheOFF
position.
5.TurnthepumpswitchtotheOFFposition.
6.Usetheboom-sectionliftswitchestoraisethe
outerboomsections.
Raisetheboomsectionsuntiltheyhavemoved
completelyintoboom-transportcradleforming
the“X”transportpositionandtheliftcylinders
arefullyretracted.
Note:Makesurethattheliftcylindersarefully
retractedtopreventactuatorroddamage.
7.Shutofftheengine.
8.Drainthesprayertankascompletelyas
possible.
Long-TermStorage
(Longerthan30days)
1.Cleanthesprayervalves;refertoCleaningthe
SprayerValves(page77).
2.Greasethesprayer;refertoLubrication(page
71).
3.Checkandtightenallbolts,nuts,andscrews.
Note:Repairorreplaceanypartsthatareworn
ordamaged.
4.Checktheconditionofallsprayhoses.
Note:Replaceanyhosesthatarewornor
damaged.
5.Tightenallhosettings.
6.Paintallscratchedorbaremetalsurfaceswith
paintisavailablefromyourauthorizedT oro
distributor.
7.Ifneeded,preparethevehicleforlong-term
storage;refertotheOperator’sManualforyour
vehicle.
8.Storethemachineinaclean,drygarageor
storagearea.
9.Coverthemachinetoprotectitandkeepitclean.
